Agreement These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SnapLing: the website, the web application, and the browser extension (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated from Ukraine. How we process personal data is described in our [Privacy Policy](https://snapling.app/uk/privacy) . By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ## 2. Eligibility You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Paid features are for users who are 18 or older, or must be purchased by a parent or other adult who is allowed to make that purchase. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you have the right to use the Service in your country. ## 3. Accounts You are responsible for your account, your password, and activity under the account. Notify us if you think someone else is using it. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusive, fraudulent, under 13, or in breach of these Terms. ## 4. Your content You keep the rights you already have in excerpts, images, deck names, your edits, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). Your Content does not include rights in facts, individual vocabulary terms, short or commonplace phrases, public-domain material, or content generated by the Service, to the extent those items are not protected by law. You grant SnapLing a worldwide license to host, copy, process, and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service. That includes sending Your Content to the AI and infrastructure processors named in the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content, and that it does not infringe others’ rights or contain illegal material. ## 5. AI-generated content Translations, definitions, examples, mnemonics, image prompts, illustrations, pronunciations, and similar material produced by the Service are “Generated Content”. Generated Content does not include Your Content merely because Your Content was used as an input or appears unchanged in the output. As between you and SnapLing, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, SnapLing owns all rights, title, and interest in Generated Content. No exclusive ownership of Generated Content is transferred to you. If applicable law gives you any transferable rights in Generated Content, you assign those rights to SnapLing. Where an assignment is not legally effective, you grant SnapLing a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, combine, publish, distribute, publicly display, and otherwise use that Generated Content for operating, improving, and promoting the Service. SnapLing may reuse Generated Content for other users and may publish eligible Generated Content in public learning pages, libraries, feeds, and other educational materials that can be indexed by search engines. Public reuse may include an underlying vocabulary term where that term is not protected or private. We do not use this right to publish your private source excerpt, uploaded image, deck name, personal edits, account identity, or the fact that a particular generation originated from your account unless you separately choose to make that information public. We grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use and export Generated Content made available to you through the Service for lawful personal and educational purposes. Generated Content is not exclusive: the same or similar output may be provided to other users or published by SnapLing. Generated Content is produced with third-party models and can be wrong, incomplete, inappropriate, or similar to existing material. Do not rely on it as professional, academic, medical, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing how you use it. ## 6. Payments Card subscriptions are sold by AgentaOS (Aristokrates OÜ, Estonia) as Merchant of Record, under its [Buyer Terms](https://agentaos.ai/buyer-terms). SnapLing provides the Service and product support. Prices, currency, billing period, and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel from the App’s billing settings or contact [support@snapling.app](mailto:support@snapling.app). Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancellation alone does not refund that period. Where offered, CryptoCloud handles one-time cryptocurrency payments, which do not renew automatically. Paid access lasts for the purchased period. A refund or chargeback may end the corresponding paid access. We do not offer voluntary refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or mandatory payment-provider rules. To request a refund, email [support@snapling.app](mailto:support@snapling.app) or, for card purchases, contact [AgentaOS](https://agentaos.ai/contact). AgentaOS administers refunds for card purchases. Its Buyer Terms explain applicable withdrawal rights. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. ## 7. Acceptable use You may not: - break the law or others’ rights; - probe, overload, or disrupt the Service; - scrape the Service except as allowed by a documented public API we provide; - bypass payment, quotas, or security; - upload malware or try to access another user’s account; - use the Extension to collect other people’s data at scale or for surveillance; - submit content you do not have the right to use. ## 8. Suspension and termination You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete an account, email [privacy@snapling.app](mailto:privacy@snapling.app) as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if we must do so by law, or if we shut the Service down. We will try to give notice when it is reasonable to do so. ## 9. Disclaimers The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet a particular standard. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ## 10. Limitation of liability SnapLing is currently operated by an individual in Ukraine. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) 50 euros. These limits do not apply where the law forbids them, including liability for intent or gross negligence where that cannot be limited. ## 11. Governing law Your use of the Service is governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Ukraine have jurisdiction, except that you may bring a claim in your country of residence if mandatory consumer law gives you that right. ## 12. Changes We may update these Terms. The current version lives at this URL, with a version number and dates at the top. Material changes take effect on the new effective date. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account. ## 13.
